In order for the foreman to learn the mechanic’s potential, they found the best way to do this was to carry out different work tasks and offer training opportunities with tests to measure the skills and motivation. With traditional solutions this was not possible in such short time.

“For me the Pre-learning and training event combination was familiar from when I worked at a dealership. When I switched to an independent workshop, I got training opportunities but lost the pre-learning feature. For me it showed in two ways, I was not able to feed my interest beforehand and differences in the level of the participants’ knowledge slowed down the training.
